KEEP CALM AND DO YOGA

Over the week, the classes will ensure balanced workouts including:

  • stretching and strengthening different parts of the body from shoulders to hips and core to glutes
  • deeper stretches of connective tissue
  • moving through the different planes of movement
  • breathing and meditation to reduce stress and calm the sympathetic nervous system

The timetable will be fine-tuned in the early weeks. All classes are 30 minutes. A sample weekly timetable is shown below with the format of daily classes subject to change.

Classes will be by video to be done at your leisure. Upon sign-up, you will also have access to a bonus Yoga Nidra to reduce stress and aid sleep.

Class Types

Below is a brief description of some of the different yoga class styles. If you find any class too easy or too challenging, you can adapt the poses to suit your desired level.

  • Strength and Stretch: a whole body workout to keep muscles strong, flexible and healthy.
  • Ashtanga: an active flow class connecting poses with the breath.
  • Gentle Flow: a slower, more mindful flow to help you unwind.
  • Themed Yoga: a variety including Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Hypno Yoga, body part focus (e.g. hips or back), specific benefit (e.g. improving sleep or reducing stress), etc.
  • Yin Yoga: a nurturing class with prolonged stretches of deep connective tissue.
  • Yoga Nidra: also known as yogic sleep, promoting deep rest and relaxation.
  • Hypno Yoga: a unique mix of hypnotherapy and restorative yoga for positive change including sleep, inner calm, restoring energy and much more.

How it works

Within 24 hours of signing up, I will email you out details of how to access my Keep Calm and Do Yoga online classes.

Your monthly fee will be taken upon signup and every 30 days thereafter unless you choose to cancel. You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time by emailing me via via the contact form.

If you are new to yoga upon signup, you may want to work through earlier classes in chronological order and join the current yoga classes when feel comfortable with the level. Generally, the classes will involve progression over the weeks and months, covering basics in the early days and weeks and introducing more challenging poses as time goes on.

The main way for me to keep in touch with you is by my Keep Calm and Do Yoga members-only mailing list. Upon signing up, you will be asked if you wish to subscribe to this mailing list. You should be aware that if you choose not to sign-up, due to GDPR regulations, I will not be able to contact you with your my online yoga access details or about changes such as classes, timetable or Terms and Conditions. If you did not choose to sign up to my members mailing list on joining and would like to be added to be kept informed of essential information about your membership and my yoga offerings, please email me via the contact form asking to be added to my online yoga members mailing list.

As a member, you will have access to a Keep Calm and Do Yoga private Facebook group providing a private community space for yoga related discussion. I will email you with details of this group shortly after joining.
