Hypnotherapy can help with a wide range of health related issues including stress, sleep, self-esteem, IBS, banishing cravings, overcoming snacking, building motivation to exercise and much more. Hypnotherapy can also help with many more non-health issues so feel free to ask.
Most of what we do is at an unconscious level i.e. without needing to consciously think about it.
Doing the same thing over and over again forms pathways in the brain. Habits and repeated behaviours very quickly become second nature and despite our best intentions, you can find yourself going down that same downtrodden path which ends in an empty pack of biscuits or similar.
Hypnotherapy is the use of trance to bring about change. Trance is a normal state of awareness which we experience in everyday life. In this natural altered state, your body experiences physical relaxation while your mind remains clear, alert and focused.
Hypnotherapy is good for influencing and changing unconscious behaviours. In trance, your unconscious mind becomes more open to suggestions allowing you to change undesirable habits and behaviours. Often new clients have spent a lot of time consciously trying to make their desired changes before seeking help.
