In our society:
- Approximately two thirds adults and one third of children in the UK are overweight or obese.
- Almost half of Britons say that stress or worry keeps them awake at night,
nearly a fifth of adults in the UK experience anxiety or depression and more than half (54%) of employers cite non-work related stress, anxiety and depression as a cause of long-term absence. - Approximately 20% of the adult population are smokers and every year, over 100,000 smokers in the UK die from smoking related causes (rising to 30% in the 25-34 age group)
I take a kinder, personalised and wholly natural approach to helping clients restore their health and reclaim their life.
In my blog, I’ll share more with you on the powerful methods I use in my work with clients.
Whether its achieving healthy sustainable weight loss, putting in place healthy eating habits and building a healthy relationship with food, replacing restless nights with restful sleep, stress and anxiety with inner peace and calm, a lack of confidence with restoring self-esteem or any of the myriad of conditions that are so prevalent in today’s fast paced world, get in touch here to find out how I can help.
To leave you with a little tranquillity in your day, I would like to share with you one of my all-time favourite poems.
Leisure by William Henry Davies
What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.
No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.
No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.
A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.
